PUBLIC AND PARENTAL INPUT
Schools belong to the public and parental input is vital to the education process. If you have a particular viewpoint you would like to share concerning education or activities in the Division there are a number of ways in which you can be heard:
These include:
contacting a
school trustee
addressing the board at a public meeting
inviting a trustee to speak to your group
participating in your school council
WORKING TOGETHER TO RESOLVE DIFFERENCES
If you have a specific concern relating to your child's progress or an incident at the school, the following protocol should be followed:
speak to your child's teacher directly or make an appointment for an in person meeting
discuss the matter with the school principal
if after reviewing the matter with the teacher and the school principal the issue remains unresolved, feel free to contact the superintendent of schools (below)
