Accountability Pillar Results Summary 2019-20

The results of diploma (Grade 12) and provincial achievement tests (Grades 6 & 9) are reported annually by Alberta Education in the October Overall Accountability Pillar Summary and the Division shares this data with stakeholders. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic during the 2019-2020 year, students across Alberta did not write diploma exams or provincial achievement exams in the spring of 2020. While high school students wrote diploma exams in January of 2020, Alberta Education did not provide an updated Accountability Pillar Overall Summary with new Diploma exam results for October 2020.

Alberta Education also administers annual surveys to parents, students, and teachers in Grades 4, 7, and 10. Please read our press release for further details on the results of these surveys.
