Honouring Spirit: Indigenous Student Awards Nominees

The Honouring Spirit: Indigenous Student Awards recognize First Nations, Métis and Inuit students who model strength and commitment in the pursuit of their personal education path and embrace their own gifts, strengths and potential while celebrating the ways of Indigenous peoples. Students are nominated by members of their school community, based on their unique qualities that inspire their peers, teachers, education leaders and community members.


Twenty-two students from St. Paul Education were nominated and selected to receive certificates of honourable mention. Congratulations to each and every one of our honourable mentions - we are proud of you!

These awards are sponsored by the Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) supported by the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Alberta Education, the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, College of Alberta School Superintendents (CASS), Alberta School Councils’ Association (ASCA) and Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA). Each student will receive a certificate from ASBA and a small gift from the St. Paul Education Board of Trustees.
