Students Showcase their Talents Through The Royal Canadian Legion annual Poster & Literary Contest

At this week’s Board of Trustees meeting, Royal Canadian Legion representative, Mr. Russ Whitford, presented certificates and cheques to the following winners of The Royal Canadian Legion annual Poster and Literary Contest: -  Mya Jackson (St. Paul Regional High School): 1st place, Senior Poster, Colour -  Katherine Goco (St. Paul Regional High School): 2nd place, Senior Poster, Black and White -  Makenzie Degelman (St. Paul Regional High School): 1st place, Senior Poem We would also like to congratulate our other student winners who were not able to be in attendance: -  Ethan Pasquayak (St. Paul Regional High School): 1st place, Senior Poster, Black and white -  Grace Crundwell (New Myrnam School): 2nd place, Intermediate Essay

Through The Royal Canadian Legion's longstanding Annual Poster and Literary Contests, SPERD school children honour Canada’s Veterans through creative art and writing, and help perpetuate Remembrance.
