
The St. Paul Education Board of Trustees wishes to announce the retirement of Glen Brodziak, Superintendent of Schools, effective June 30, 2022.
Mr. Brodziak began his thirty-six year career in 1986 in various roles at Ashmont Secondary High School. First as a teacher, then in 1995 as the Assistant Principal, and then in 2000 he became the Principal. In 2002 he left Ashmont to become Principal of St. Paul Regional High School. In 2007 he moved to our Division Central Office and became an Assistant Superintendent. By the fall of 2008 he became Chief Deputy Superintendent. In April of 2009 he was appointed Acting Superintendent, and was selected to his current role as the Superintendent of Schools in August of 2009 where he has served for the past 13 years.
The Board commends Glen for his commitment to the success of all learners. His dedication to education and his ability to lead change has guided significant improvement in St. Paul Education.
The Board of Trustees congratulate Glen on his well-deserved retirement and would like to sincerely thank him for his commitment and years of exceptional service for our learners, our school division and our entire community. His visionary leadership will be greatly missed.
The search for the next Superintendent of St. Paul Education will get underway in the coming weeks.
