We are sharing an important update regarding ongoing labour negotiations. It is our understanding that the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) will be issuing a formal strike notice this week. The ATA has indicated that, if a negotiated settlement is not reached, a strike would begin on October 6, 2025.

Please note: ALL SCHOOLS REMAIN OPEN AT THIS TIME. All classes and extracurricular activities are continuing as normal.

School Division Operations

Unless a settlement is reached, schools will be closed to students beginning Monday, October 6, 2025.
