SPERD RECEIVES MELRA AWARD |
|

St. Paul Education was recently presented with a Minister’s Education Leadership Recognition Award. The MELRA awards celebrate significant improvement and/or very high achievement at the district or jurisdiction level. These awards recognize school board leaders who make a difference in the lives of our students every day.
School boards are eligible to receive multiple awards if their annual results demonstrate significant improvement and/or very high achievement in any of the Accountability Pillar categories.
St. Paul Education was recognized for significant improvement in provincial achievement test results. Accepting the award from Parliamentary Assistant to Education Janice Sarich are trustees Steve Upham, Deb Pederson and Ron Rudkowsky.

Ecole Elementaire St. Paul Elementary School Reopening |
|
SPECS celebrated the official re-opening of the school November 12 following a substantial modernization. In his speech, Chairman Darrell Younghans, thanked students, parents and staff for their tremendous support and understanding during the modernization process which included three moves. Principal Marie-Anne Hébert was recognized for going above and beyond in her commitment to the project.

The $10 million dollar modernization included a complete upgrade which essentially saw the school stripped to its shell and completely modernized. Highlights include improved air handling systems, cutting-edge technology in each classroom and the development of a multipurpose student gathering area.
