General Information
Occasional Bus Service
For the safety of your child(ren), it is important for us at St. Paul Education to know each passenger riding our fleet of school buses. Therefore, non-regular passengers are not permitted to ride our school buses without prior consent from St. Paul Education Transportation Department. Please note that special busing requests for birthday parties, sleepovers, etc will not be approved.
Alternate Seat
Services to allow one alternate location to an existing stop for either pick-up or drop-off in situations where children have parents with joint custody, day home or daycare may be given consideration, depending on seat availability.
The fee for alternate seat requests has been adjusted for the 2025-26 school year. This adjustment reflects the fact that reserving multiple pick-up or drop-off locations on separate buses secures a seat for your child on each route, even when one is not in use. These reserved seats prevent others from accessing available space and contribute to overall route planning and capacity limitations.
Please note that approval for an alternate seat is not guaranteed and is subject to availability, eligibility criteria and routing capacity.
Yard Service
Yard service may be provided on private property under the following conditions:
Year Round Service (along with payment)

Winter Service (along with payment)

With approval from the Director of Transportation, fees may be waived (N/C) - due to safety reasons

- bus stop does not have sufficient distance for visibility by other motorists (i.e. hill, curve, etc.), or
